PRESIDENTIAL BRIEFING
Turning on the TV set, listening to the news,
Waiting for the President to state his point of view,
He’s standing with that Chief of Staff, looking mighty grim,
Says he’s got those facts in hand, and he got them straight from him.

Now, it seems that there’s this trouble spot, that needs a helping hand,
And though he hates to ask a lot, he’s sure you’ll understand,
We’ve got to call upon our troops, across this nation wide,
Sons and daughters, moms and dads, in uniform with pride.
